Thompson (Alabama) quarterback Trent Seaborn became the all-time passing yards leader in Alabama high school football on Friday night. He surpassed the previous record of 11,024 yards, held by Jack Hayes of Piedmont, during Thompson’s game against Vestavia Hills.
The senior quarterback broke the record in the third quarter. Seaborn is a University of Alabama commit and is ranked as the No. 292 overall prospect and No. 22 quarterback in the 2027 recruiting cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. He is also the No. 14 senior prospect in the state of Alabama.
