For the week of July 27-August 2, *The Big Bang Theory* reached the No. 1 overall spot in Nielsen streaming ratings with 1.14 billion minutes of viewing time. This marks the first time the comedy has held the top position, and it achieved over a billion viewing minutes for the third consecutive week.
The No. 1 original series was Netflix’s *The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare*, with 864 million minutes watched. However, this represents the lowest weekly total for a No. 1 original series in nearly two years. Netflix’s *Ransom Canyon* saw a 9 percent increase in viewership, reaching 816 million minutes after its season two premiere, while Prime Video’s *Ride or Die* retained 786 million minutes of watch time in its third week.
Apple TV’s *Ted Lasso* returned to the top 10 with 446 million minutes before its fourth season premiere, and Hulu’s *Furious* debuted in 10th place with 372 million minutes across its first four episodes. Will Ferrell’s *The Hawk* experienced a significant drop, falling 59 percent to 383 million minutes.
On the movie side, *The Devil Wears Prada 2* led the charts and finished second overall with 911 million minutes of viewing time upon its streaming premiere on Disney+ and Hulu. *The Super Mario Bros. Movie* also performed well, garnering 777 million minutes on Peacock. *Masters of the Universe* fell to fourth among movies with 588 million minutes.
