Natalie Portman has welcomed her third child, her first with partner Tanguy Destable. The Oscar winner announced her pregnancy in April, expressing gratitude for the experience.
Portman, 45, gave birth in Paris last month, according to *People*. Representatives for Portman did not respond to requests for comment.
In an interview with *Harper’s Bazaar*, Portman, who shares two children with her ex-husband, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, described feeling “very grateful” and that it was “such a privilege and a miracle” to be expecting with Destable, a French music producer. “Tanguy and I are very excited,” she said at the time. She also acknowledged the difficulties others face with pregnancy, stating, “I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant. I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well.”
Portman reflected on her perspective with age and the joy of this pregnancy, saying, “There is a gratitude that when you’re young, you don’t necessarily grasp.” She continued, “There’s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. And knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.” Portman and Destable’s relationship was reported in March 2025.
