Mubi has secured the international streaming rights to the eight-part documentary series, ‘JAŸ-Z In 8’. The series features rapper JAŸ-Z in conversation with producer Rick Rubin.
The documentary, executive-produced by Shawn Carter (JAŸ-Z) and Rubin, will debut on Mubi with two new episodes released each Saturday. The release schedule begins immediately, culminating with episodes seven and eight on Saturday, October 10.
Rick Rubin also directs the series. The acquisition allows Mubi to offer the series to international audiences, providing a platform for the conversations between the legendary rapper and the veteran producer.
