Penybont have signed winger Jonathan Leko, 27, following his release from MK Dons this summer. Leko began his career as a youth player with West Bromwich Albion and joined MK Dons in January 2023 after a stint with Birmingham City.
He was loaned to Burton Albion in January of this year but suffered a serious knee injury on his debut, keeping him sidelined for 16 months. Prior to signing with Penybont, Leko had been training with Notts County.
The former England Under-20 international could make his debut for Penybont this Friday against Flint Town United or on Monday when they travel to play Cambrian United. Both games are part of the Cymru Premier league.
