Fox Sports’ Nick Wright predicts the Chiefs will defeat the Eagles in the Super Bowl. Wright foresees an AFC Championship Game matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Chiefs, and a NFC Championship between the Seahawks and the Eagles. “I have the Ravens hosting the Chiefs in the AFC, much like they did two years ago,” Wright said. “In the NFC, I have the Seahawks hosting the Eagles.”
Patrick Mahomes Sr. has filed a motion in the 7th District Court in Tyler, Texas, seeking approval to travel to seven of his son’s games in Kansas City, Missouri; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Cincinnati, Ohio. Court records indicate Mahomes Sr. is prepared to submit to urinalysis testing before and after each trip, as required by his supervision officer.
Xavier Nwankpa, who went from an undrafted rookie to making the Chiefs’ 53-man roster, was unexpectedly called upon to start after Alohi Gilman was ruled out. “It was kind of crazy,” Nwankpa said. “I found out in the locker room, but it really was just next-man-up mentality.
