Adria Arjona is undergoing intense physical training for her undisclosed role in the upcoming DC Universe film, ‘Man of Tomorrow.’ She described building muscle she’s “never had in my life” through a rigorous two-to-three hour daily training schedule and a strict diet.
Arjona will reunite with James Gunn and Peter Safran, who gave her a career-starting role in 2016’s ‘The Belko Experiment.’ “I’m excited to be reunited with the family that started everything for me,” Arjona said. “I wouldn’t have done any of the movies that we’ve spoken about today if not for them…it feels really f***ing cool and really exciting.”
Filming for ‘Man of Tomorrow’ recently wrapped. The film will star David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and several other actors including Xolo Maridueña, who is reprising his role as Blue Beetle. Aaron Pierre, known for his work in HBO’s ‘Lanterns,’ will also appear. The film is scheduled for release on July 9, 2027.
