Following the death of Tim Curry at age 80 on Wednesday, cast members from Nickelodeon’s *The Wild Thornberrys* shared memories of working with the actor, who voiced Nigel Thornberry in the animated series.
Lacey Chabert, the voice of Eliza Thornberry, wrote on Instagram, “I’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories of working with Tim on The Wild Thornberrys. It was such a joy to watch him create a character. He was always so incredibly kind to me and encouraging. He will be so very missed.”
Danielle Harris, who voiced Debbie Thornberry, also paid tribute, stating, “How lucky I felt to share the stage with him for 7 years…I recorded with Tim more than anyone on the cast and my face would literally hurt from laughing leaving the recording studio. I would get so excited when I’d pull into work and see his car in the parking lot. Tim’s uncanny humor and naughty wit was like no other and I just absolutely adored him. Tim has undoubtedly left a mark on all of our lives forever. He will be missed.”
The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea, who voiced Donnie Thornberry, recalled seeing Curry in *Rocky Horror* and later working with him on the show. He described Curry as “kind, smart and funny as hell.”
Curry died at his home in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, according to his longtime manager Marcia Hurwitz, who said he passed peacefully. He had suffered a major stroke in 2012, requiring brain surgery and the use of a wheelchair.
