The season three finale of Apple TV’s “Silo” revealed Daniel Keene, known as Troy, as the controller of the Algorithm, the force governing the silos. Keene, who periodically awakens from cryogenic slumber, makes decisions about rogue silos and doesn’t recognize his sister Charlotte. The finale saw Juliette and her team cap a safeguard that would have flooded Silo 18 with toxic gas, leading to a standoff with Keene. He offered a truce, knowing their resources are limited, but Juliette accepted cautiously, preparing for war.
Rebecca Ferguson, who plays Juliette, described her character as “shit scared!” despite maintaining composure. The fourth and final season, already filmed, will pick up hours after the finale, focusing on how Juliette and her team will fight against the Algorithm with limited knowledge of the silos’ history and purpose. The season will premiere on July 9, 2027.
According to series creator Graham Yost, the finale’s events set the stage for a conflict. Juliette’s journey throughout the season involved regaining her memories after a period of amnesia. Ferguson noted that Juliette’s strength lies in her ability to find solutions when others cannot.
