When Ruthie’s life falls apart after an affair with a colleague (SungWon Cho), she moves to New York to reconnect with her siblings. *Dang!* distinguishes itself as a show created by and centering on Asian Americans, avoiding typical tropes related to tiger moms or assimilation.
