Tuesday’s episode marked the series’ strongest premiere in six years, since Season 29 debuted with 8.1 million viewers in 2020. The latest premiere also saw a 40% improvement in ratings among adults aged 18-49, rising from a 1.06 to a 1.48 – the best performance for a “Dancing With the Stars” premiere since 2017.
