SEC Network’s SEC Nation and Marty & McGee will broadcast live from Lexington, Kentucky, next weekend as the Kentucky Wildcats host the No. 13 Alabama Crimson Tide. The broadcasts are part of a significant opportunity for the Wildcats, who will also play on ABC at 3:30 p.m. E.T.
SEC Nation will begin its broadcast at 9 a.m. E.T. on Saturday, followed by Marty & McGee from 12-12:45 p.m. E.T. Both shows will originate from the William T. Young Library. Matt Barrie is the new host of SEC Nation, taking over from Laura Rutledge, who now hosts NFL Live and serves as a sideline reporter for Monday Night Football. Barrie will be joined by analysts Chase Daniel, Paul Finebaum, Tim Tebow, and Roman Harper, and reporter Marion Crowder.
Paul Finebaum will also host his weekday show live from the William T. Young Library on Friday afternoon from 3-7 p.m. E.T. Alabama defeated East Carolina 48-10 on Saturday, with freshman quarterback Keelon Russell throwing for 256 yards and rushing for 86 yards and a score. This will be Russell’s first road start.
Kentucky has only two wins in 42 games all-time against Alabama, with their last victory coming in October 1997 in a 40-34 overtime win. Alabama has won the last eight games against Kentucky, spanning the last 28 years. Kentucky lost their last game against Alabama 49-21 in Week 11 of the 2023 season.
