Vice President JD Vance will headline the closing night of the Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas, followed by remarks from President Donald Trump. The convention, which concludes Thursday, will also feature speeches from first son Donald Trump Jr., Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, and Texas officials including Senators Ted Cruz and Greg Abbott. Two solemn moments are planned during the evening. Pastor Lucas Miles will deliver a tribute to Charlie Kirk, who died a year ago Thursday, and Tunnel to Towers CEO Frank Siller will participate in a 25th anniversary observance of the September 11 terrorist attacks, including a wreath-laying and a performance of “Ave Maria.”
Other scheduled speakers include Speaker Mike Johnson, Mike Rogers (running for Senate in Michigan), and several House Republicans. The convention will also feature remarks from British travel creator Oliver Henry, who will discuss his experiences in America. A balloon drop, performances of “YMCA” and “Pinball Wizard,” and a closing performance by Christopher Macchio will conclude the event.
