New York Times pop culture writer and awards columnist Kyle Buchanan has left the newspaper after eight years to launch a new video podcast.
Buchanan’s last day at The New York Times was Friday, according to a report by Variety. He is launching “The Kyle Buchanan Show,” a new video podcast about Hollywood, in mid-October.
The podcast will be released twice weekly. Variety exclusively reported the news of Buchanan’s departure and new venture.
