A sequel to the 2001 film “Donnie Darko” will be released in book form later this year, authored by the film’s director, Richard Kelly. The book, titled “The Philosophy of Time Travel,” will continue the story immediately following the events of the original movie.
The approximately 800-page book is being published by Range Literary Publishing. It is set in 1988, taking place in the direct aftermath of the 2001 film “Donnie Darko.
