David Ornstein of The Athletic reported the finalized agreement between the two clubs on Saturday morning. Barcola, 23, has been frozen out at PSG amid uncertainty over his future but has been committed to joining Liverpool throughout the summer, despite having two years remaining on his contract.
The winger is expected to sign a five-year contract at Anfield, keeping him at the club until he is nearly 29 years old. Liverpool views Barcola as a potential long-term replacement for Mo Salah, and anticipates he will be a regular starter under manager Andoni Iraola when fit.
