Dragonfly 2.0 boasts expanded compatibility with Redis and Valkey, including support for Valkey 9 RDB loading. The developers focused on performance improvements, specifically reducing overhead related to connection processing and memory accounting. Buffering and RDB serialization costs have also been lowered in this release.
Further enhancements include configurable burst and cool-down limits for background defragmentation. Dragonfly continues to be developed under the Business Source License 1.1. The project promotes itself as "the world's most efficient in-memory data store" and is fully compatible with Redis and Memcached APIs.
