The Herald News has launched a fan vote for the 2026 Preseason Girls Soccer Player of the Year, featuring seventeen athletes from six high schools in the Fall River area.
The athletes represent Atlantis Charter/Westport, Joseph Case, Diman, Durfee, Somerset Berkley, and Westport. Supporters can cast their votes at heraldnews.com. Voting is open until September 23 at midnight, with the winner to be announced on the same website and on X, formerly known as Twitter.
