NASA brought a free interactive exhibit to the FIFA Fan Festival™ in East Downtown Houston from June 11 through July 19. The exhibit aimed to educate attendees about NASA’s missions and how they benefit life on Earth.
The agency's presence at the festival, which coincided with the FIFA World Cup tournament, attracted more than 500,000 visitors. Attendees had the opportunity to explore displays detailing various aspects of space exploration, including the Artemis program, plans for a Moon Base, and the International Space Station.
The exhibit served as an outreach effort to introduce a global audience to NASA’s work. The agency highlighted how its research, technology, and missions translate into tangible benefits for people on Earth.
