NASA recently concluded the Rock and Roll with NASA Challenge, a competition designed to advance surface mobility technology for a future Moon Base. From an initial pool of 128 submissions received from 49 countries, five teams progressed to the final phase of the competition. The challenge specifically focused on wheel designs, highlighting NASA’s emphasis on improving how equipment and personnel navigate the challenging lunar terrain.
