Mahamadou Sangaré, 19, has left Manchester City to sign with Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah. The French forward joined Manchester City over the possibility of a first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain just over one year ago.
Sangaré did not make a first-team appearance for Manchester City. He featured for the City academy side in 30 matches, scoring 15 goals, including a hat-trick against AS Monaco in the UEFA Youth League.
A return to Ligue 1 was considered for Sangaré, potentially through a loan deal. However, he has instead agreed to a permanent transfer to Al-Qadsiah, signing a three-year contract. Manchester City received an undisclosed fee for the transfer.
