New films from directors Pablo Larraín, Mike Leigh, and Benjamín Naishtat will compete for honors at the San Sebastián Film Festival in September. The festival lineup also includes new titles from Nicole Garcia and Maha Harada.
The San Sebastián Film Festival announced its competition selections, featuring buzzy new projects from several acclaimed directors. “Jacky,” “Spencer” and “Maria” director Pablo Larraín will be presenting a new film alongside work from Benjamín Naishtat.
Mike Leigh’s “Tender Loving Care” is also set to compete at the festival, which takes place in September. Additionally, Nicole Garcia’s latest effort, “7:40 ce matin-là/Milo,” starring Marion Coillard, has been selected for inclusion. Maha Harada's new title will also be featured as part of the competition.
