Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo are building chemistry as teammates with the Miami Heat after a significant offseason trade. The Heat acquired Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis from the Milwaukee Bucks in July, sending Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakučionis, the No. 13 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, future first-round picks, a pick swap, and a future second-rounder in return.
The Miami Heat recently shared a video of Antetokounmpo and Adebayo practicing together, signaling the start of their on-court partnership. The 10-time NBA All-Star Antetokounmpo, who will be 32 in December, averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in his final season with the Bucks, shooting 62.4 percent from the field. He was limited to 36 games due to injuries but is now healthy.
The Heat will debut their new tandem on Oct. 21 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The acquisition of Antetokounmpo is considered the biggest trade of the NBA offseason.
