FocusFest, an immersive fan event, will return to the Universal Studios Lot on October 10. The event will feature screenings of both new and classic Focus Features films, special guests, themed food and beverage options, exclusive merchandise, and interactive experiences. Television host Justin Sylvester will host.
Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles are scheduled to attend an advance screening of Georgia Oakley’s new adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Sense and Sensibility,” where they play sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood. Other films to be screened include Joe Wright’s “Pride and Prejudice,” Autumn de Wilde’s “Emma,” and Alexander Payne’s 2023 film “The Holdovers.” An early advance screening of Simon Stone’s “Elsinore,” starring Andrew Scott, will also be shown. The film tells the story of actor Ian Charleson as he prepared to perform in Hamlet at the National Theatre in London.
Thrill seekers can view Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu” and Curry Barker’s “Obsession,” which became Focus Features’ highest-grossing film after being screened at last year’s FocusFest. Focus Features’ 2026 slate includes “Obsession,” Eggers’ “Werwulf,” “The Uprising” from Paul Greengrass, “Elsinore” and “Sense and Sensibility.” Focus Features is a subsidiary of NBCUniversal.
