Fluminense will face Platense in the first leg of the 2026 Conmebol Libertadores quarterfinals on Tuesday at the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The match will begin at 7 p.m. Brasília time.
The return leg is scheduled for next Tuesday at Estadio Ciudad de Vicente López in Buenos Aires, Argentina, also at 7 p.m. Brasília time. The winner of this matchup will advance to face either LDU or Palmeiras, who will play their first leg on Wednesday at Nubank Parque and their second leg on Wednesday in Quito, Ecuador.
Other teams still competing for the continental title include Estudiantes, Corinthians, Independiente del Valle, and Flamengo. For Fluminense’s upcoming match against Platense, coach Marcão has made changes to the lineup, bringing in Thiago Silva and Kevin Serna to replace Ignacio and Canobbio, respectively, compared to their previous 1-0 win over Vasco in the Brasileirão.
