Beta Film, ZDF/Arte, and Antitalent are co-producing the Croatian crime drama “Red Water,” based on a bestselling novel. The series won the 2025 Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award.
The six-hour series, “Red Water,” is adapted from Jurica Pavičić’s novel of the same name. The project received the 2025 Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award at CineLink Industry Days during the Sarajevo Film Festival. This award recognizes promising co-productions within the Council of Europe.
The co-production is a collaboration between Beta Film, ZDF/Arte, and Antitalent. Beta Film is leading the production, with ZDF/Arte and Antitalent serving as co-producers.
