Serie A features eight teams within the top 50 most valuable squads globally, a result considered positive when compared to other European leagues. However, the Premier League dominates with 19 clubs represented, including Championship side West Ham, while Hull City is the only English team absent from the ranking. Porto and Galatasaray are the most valuable teams outside of Europe’s five major leagues, with Al-Hilal and Flamengo leading the way for teams outside of UEFA and South America, respectively.
Real Madrid currently holds the top spot in squad value, maintaining its position after a period of significant player acquisition. The club’s value increased by around €240 million between June and September. Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain follow closely behind. Arsenal is also positioned near the top, continuing their pursuit of a treble. Newly promoted English teams Hull and Ipswich have also experienced substantial growth in squad value, increasing by +157 and +120 million, respectively.
Como has experienced the most significant rise among Italian clubs, climbing from 52nd to 21st place in the rankings over the past year. This advancement has allowed them to surpass Roma, Milan, and Napoli. In contrast, Marseille is facing difficulties and has experienced an overall estimated loss in squad value.
