Directed by Lan Hongchun and starring Li Sitong and Wang Yantong, the word-of-mouth phenomenon has now amassed a cumulative total of $208.4 million. The film's continued success comes as two new releases, "Memento" and "Master Zhong," debuted in Chinese theaters.
The family drama's strong performance demonstrates the staying power of well-received domestic productions in the Chinese market. "Dear You" has maintained its position as the top-grossing film through positive audience reception and word-of-mouth support.
