Anthropic has expanded the availability of its Claude Cowork assistant to web and mobile platforms for Max subscribers. Previously, Claude Cowork was primarily a laptop-based application.
The update allows users to initiate tasks on their computers and receive status updates, as well as access completed outputs, on their smartphones – even when their laptops are turned off. This expanded accessibility aims to provide a more seamless workflow for users.
According to TechCrunch, the expansion of Claude Cowork addresses user needs for continued access and task management across multiple devices. Users can now start a task from their desk, get status updates on their phone, and pick up the finished output later — even if their laptop is closed.
