Amazon’s Fire HD 10 Tablet is currently available for $154.99 and has sold over 10,000 units in the last month. The tablet offers improved battery life and durability compared to competitors.
The Fire HD 10 Tablet features a 10.1-inch full HD display and Amazon states it is almost 20% brighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. It provides up to 13 hours of battery life, exceeding the iPad’s battery life by three hours. The tablet includes 32GB of storage, an octa-core processor, and 4GB of RAM. It also features 5MP front and rear-facing cameras capable of recording 1080p HD video.
Amazon highlights the Fire HD 10’s durability, claiming it is almost three times more durable than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 in tumble testing. The screen is made with scratch-resistant aluminosilicate glass. The tablet can be used as an e-reader or with the Amazon Stylus Pen (sold separately), which Amazon says has more than 4,000 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The Fire HD 10 also supports Dolby Atmos sound. Customers have given the tablet a largely positive reception, with almost 80% providing a five-star review. Amazon is currently offering a deal for a new Fire HD 10 Tablet at its cheapest price this year, with an additional 20% off available for those who trade in an old device.
