Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has signed on as an executive producer for the television adaptation of the video game series "Payday." He will produce through his G-Unit Film & Television banner. The project is a collaboration between Vice Studios and Starbreeze Entertainment.
Variety exclusively reported that Jackson’s involvement adds another key figure to the production team.
The series is based on the popular “Payday” video games, known for their cooperative gameplay centered around elaborate heists. Vice Studios and Starbreeze Entertainment previously announced they were developing the television show, but further information has been limited until now. Jackson’s G-Unit Film & Television has been involved in several successful television projects, including the Power Universe franchise on STARZ.
