The 2026-2027 NFL regular season begins Wednesday, Sept. 9, with the New England Patriots versus the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. The game will start at 8:20 p.m. ET/5:20 p.m. PT and be broadcast on NBC.
Throughout the season, games will be shown live on NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX and NFL Network. Livestreaming options include ESPN Unlimited, Paramount+, FOX One, Peacock, Prime Video and NFL+. For those without cable, affordable cable antennas can access games on NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX.
DirecTV offers an "Entertainment" package for $59.99/month for the first month ($89.99/month afterwards) with access to games on NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX and NFL Network, along with over 90 channels and unlimited cloud DVR. Sling TV’s Sling Orange + Blue package starts at $69.99/month and includes NBC, ABC, ESPN, FOX and NFL Network, with 50 hours of cloud DVR, but does not include CBS. Fubo offers access to NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX and NFL Network, more than 220 channels, and unlimited cloud DVR, with a five-day free trial.
The season is expected to draw significant viewership, following Super Bowl LX which had over 125 million viewers earlier in 2026. Celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, and Kendrick Lamar are likely to attend games to support their favorite teams.
