Shortly after Indian filmmaker Gurvinder Singh and his crew initially met the family residing in that house, their 19-year-old son died from a drug overdose. Singh shared with Variety, “The actual family that lives there lost their 19-year-old son after we met them for the first time.”
The director emphasized the importance of continuing to create films like “Rehmat,” despite the difficult circumstances surrounding its production.
