Gareth Edwards has exited the upcoming sequel to “Jurassic World Rebirth” due to creative differences with Universal Pictures. The film, which rebooted the sci-fi series, grossed $870 million worldwide.
The filmmaker was set to return to direct the follow-up to “Jurassic World Rebirth,” scheduled for release in 2025. However, Variety confirmed that Edwards has departed the project. No details regarding a replacement director have been announced at this time.
