Shelley Fabares, a baby-boomer icon known for her roles in television and film, has died at the age of 82. She achieved early success as a singer with the No. 1 hit “Johnny Angel” and later starred in several popular television series and movies, including three films alongside Elvis Presley.
Fabares gained widespread recognition for her role on “The Donna Reed Show,” a popular sitcom of the 1960s.
Beyond her work in entertainment, Fabares was married to Mike Farrell, an actor best known for his role in the television series “M*A*S*H.
