Disney Publishing has announced a new romantasy initiative titled “Disney Cursed Love.” The project will consist of a series of webcomics launched on Webtoon.
Announced at D23 in Anaheim, the initiative is inspired by some of the company's “most iconic love stories,” including movies such as ‘Beauty and the Beast.’
The project aims to leverage Disney's stockpile of "moody and magical love stories" to target an audience beyond traditional family entertainment.
