Disney has secured a licensing agreement with iHeartMedia to stream six podcasts, including the recently launched "Hey Jonas!" featuring the Jonas Brothers, on its platforms Disney+ and Hulu. This deal expands content offerings for both streaming services by incorporating popular audio programs in video format.
The agreement encompasses video editions of iHeartPodcasts’ “Pod Meets World,” which will be available on Disney+, alongside “Desperately Devoted,” “Fake Doctors, Real Friends” and two additional unnamed podcasts. The Jonas Brothers' "Hey Jonas!" is among the first to roll out under this new partnership.
The move aims to provide viewers with a broader range of entertainment options beyond traditional television and film content.
