Matthew McConaughey and Shailene Woodley are among the presenters set for Monday night’s 78th Emmy Awards, alongside stars from the “Baywatch” reboot. The ceremony, hosted by Mariska Hargitay, will also feature appearances celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and the 50th anniversary of “Charlie’s Angels.”
Joining McConaughey and Woodley as presenters are Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephen Amell, Awkwafina, Noah Beck, Jessica Belkin, Scott Caan, Emma D’Arcy, Julia Garner, LL Cool J, Woody Harrelson, Hassie Harrison, Paul Anthony Kelly, Thaddeus LaGrone, John Mulaney, Brooks Nader, Emmy Rossum and Sofía Vergara. Belkin, Harrison, LaGrone, Amell, Beck, and Nader all star in the forthcoming reboot of “Baywatch.”
Shailene Woodley recently won her first Emmy at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 6, for guest actress in a drama series for her role in Hulu’s “Paradise.” Jamie Lee Curtis was nominated for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series for her role in FX’s “The Bear.”
David Boreanaz and Sarah Michelle Gellar will represent “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” to commemorate its 30th anniversary, while Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith will celebrate 50 years of “Charlie’s Angels.” Musician Noah Kahan will perform “Bridge Over Troubled Water” during the In Memoriam segment. Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay of Jesse Collins Entertainment and Mariska Hargitay are executive producers of the 78th Emmy Awards.
