Lauren Weedman, a star of 'Hacks,' recently spoke with Variety regarding her appearance in four Emmy-nominated comedies this year and the impact of Bell’s palsy on her professional trajectory.
Reflecting on her early career in theater, Weedman noted that she struggled to fully express herself during performances. “I remember I was doing other people’s plays when I was younger, and I never got to fully get my yayas out,” she told Variety. She explained that she often felt she possessed more energy or internal activity than she was able to convey on stage.
