Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson shared a heartwarming story about a consistent gesture from actor Matthew McConaughey. The actor sends flowers to Robinson’s mother for Mother’s Day and other holidays each year.
Robinson, who is expected to be a key player in the Falcons’ offense this season, revealed the tradition during an interview with Kay Adams. He described receiving a text from McConaughey asking for his home address to send flowers to his mother. “He always sends her flowers for Mother’s Day and some holidays. That's always the coolest thing; he gets them every single year, and he doesn't forget. I think that's the coolest thing, or kind of the most random thing, that he sent. It was cool,” Robinson said.
The Falcons are set to open their season against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with Robinson anticipated to be a major contributor. However, the team’s quarterback situation is uncertain as Tua Tagovailoa has been added to the injury report with an oblique injury.
