FC Barcelona’s women’s team, Barça Femeni, has been nominated for the 2026 Women's Club of the Year award at the Ballon d'Or awards. The nomination recognizes the team considered to have achieved the most during the season.
Pere Romeu’s Barça Femeni is among five nominees, alongside Bayern Munich, Club America, Manchester City, and OL Lyonnes. This recognition follows a successful season for the Catalan side, which included winning the Women's Champions League, Liga F, Copa de la Reina, and the Supercopa de Espana.
The full shortlists for all Ballon d'Or categories were revealed today, with the winners to be announced at a ceremony in London on October 26, 2026.
