Defense technology startup Anduril has closed a massive $5 billion funding round, doubling its valuation to $61 billion. The round was led by Thrive and a16z, the company said.
The new investment follows a year in which Anduril achieved $2.2 billion in revenue in 2025, underscoring rapid growth in the defense tech sector. The fresh capital marks one of the largest private funding rounds in the industry.
Anduril, which builds autonomous systems and other defense products, has now seen its valuation climb sharply as investor appetite for defense technology continues to surge.
