Washington State University (WSU) has announced a new five-year sponsorship agreement with the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. The deal, valued at $8.43 million, marks the largest sponsorship in the school’s history and will include visible jersey patch advertisements for all Cougars athletic programs.
The agreement will see the logo of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation featured on the jerseys of WSU's sports teams. This represents a new revenue stream for the university and increased visibility for the tribe.
In addition to the financial sponsorship, the deal also includes a $250,000 donation made directly to the Cougar Athletic Excellence Fund. The fund supports various athletic initiatives at Washington State University.
