The Sarajevo Film Festival, a leading event for South-East European cinema, has revealed the films selected for its four competition sections. The 32nd edition of the festival will run from August 14 to 21.
The festival unveiled lineups featuring a total of 21 world premieres, six international premieres, one European premiere and 23 regional premieres. These selections highlight the festival’s commitment to showcasing emerging and established filmmakers from South-East Europe and beyond.
The narrative feature films section includes nine films. The full competition programs were announced on Thursday, detailing the diverse range of cinematic works that will be presented at this year's event. The Sarajevo Film Festival is recognized as a key platform for promoting cinema from the region and fostering international collaboration within the film industry.
