Las Vegas Raiders have signed former Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants pass rusher Azeez Ojulari to their practice squad. Ojulari aims to earn a spot on the Raiders’ active roster after being released by the Falcons.
Azeez Ojulari, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound linebacker, was initially drafted in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft. He spent the years 2021-2024 with the New York Giants, where he recorded all 22 of his career NFL sacks. Last season, Ojulari played three games for the Philadelphia Eagles, totaling six tackles.
The Raiders signed Ojulari as they look for pass-rushing help alongside star player Maxx Crosby, after a potential trade sending Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens fell through this offseason. Ojulari will wear jersey number 52. He joins fellow Georgia Bulldogs Brock Bowers, Eric Stokes, Nakobe Dean, and Quay Walker on the Raiders roster.
