Oklahoma State University’s softball team will host the Chinese National Team for a joint practice session on Thursday at Cowgirl Stadium. The practice, which begins at 6 p.m., is open to the public free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Chinese National Team is currently ranked No. 8 in the world by the World Baseball Softball Confederation. They recently finished fifth at the International Cup held in Oklahoma City in August, securing wins against Australia, Chinese Taipei, and American Samoa.
Oklahoma State’s fall schedule begins September 23rd with a game against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Last season, the Cowgirls achieved a 41-17 record before being eliminated in the NCAA Super Regional by Nebraska.
