New York Comic Con (NYCC) has revealed its professional programming schedule for 2026, expanding on last year’s offerings. The event, produced by ReedPop, will begin October 7 with Retailer Day and continue through October 11 at the Javits Center in New York City.
The expansion of professional programming is intended to create more opportunities for industry professionals and those aspiring to join the field. According to ReedPop Vice President Kristina Rogers, “The response to last year’s expansion of Professional Programming was overwhelmingly positive and we wanted to create even more opportunities to bring our community of professions and aspiring professionals together this year.” Rogers added that for 20 years, NYCC has provided a space for industry professionals to network, showcase work, and celebrate achievements, and ReedPop intends to continue growing these opportunities.
Retailer Day, taking place October 7 from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Pro Stage 1, will feature publisher presentations, keynotes from Stephanie Philips and Todd McFarlane, retailer discussions, industry conversations, and creator signings. Speakers will represent companies including Dark Horse, eBay, Ignition, Universal, and the Women in Comics Collective.
ICv2 will host its annual industry conference, a special 20-year anniversary edition, on October 8 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Pro Stage 1. The event will focus on the future of graphic novels, manga, and digital comics, and will be followed by the Comic Industry Social Hour. This is a free, ticketed event for industry professionals only, available through ICv2.
The Industry Summit and Mixer, presented by Comics Sketch Art, is also planned. Select professional programming panels will be open to fans holding Single Day or 4-Day Weekend tickets through the Aspiring Professional Program on Saturday and Sunday.
