The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is expanding its main arrival area as it celebrates a significant milestone. The festival, marking both its 60th edition and 80 years of existence, is focusing on enhancing the experience for all attendees.
The expansion aims to create a more welcoming atmosphere for guests arriving at the Czech fest. Head of production Petr Lintimer lauded the extensive efforts undertaken by staff and the 1,500 volunteers involved in preparing for the event.
Lintimer stated, “Red carpet for everybody!” highlighting the festival’s intention to make the arrival experience special for everyone attending. The work of the team is intended to add to the already established atmosphere of the venerable Czech film festival.
