GNOME OS is now supported by a documentation website and has implemented Zswap to improve performance on systems with limited memory. A fork of the Geary email client, named Convey, has also been released with new features.
GNOME OS now features a documentation website providing guides and setup information for users. To address out-of-memory issues, GNOME OS is now employing Zswap by default. A Rust-based script, zswap-generator, is used to create the systemd configuration for Zswap, while respecting the `zswap.enabled=0` kernel command-line option for disabling the feature.
In related news, Convey has debuted on Flathub as a fork of the Geary mail client. Convey adds support for Microsoft 365, has been ported to the GTK4 toolkit, and includes other fixes and UI/UX enhancements.
