The Buccaneers (2-0) found themselves trailing significantly at the break, but Daniels stepped up to guide the team to victory. He connected with Ko Kieft for a 2-yard touchdown pass, while Sean Tucker powered into the endzone for a 1-yard rushing touchdown. B.T. Potter added a 46-yard field goal, completing the scoring for Tampa Bay.
Kansas City (0-2) relied on the leg of Harrison Butker, who successfully kicked three field goals. Butker’s longest attempt, a 69-yarder, came as time expired in the first half. Despite Butker’s performance, the Chiefs were unable to maintain their lead in the second half.
